Ode to a Wildflower < Solitary Queen of the Prairie Wildflowers: A ChatGPT Free multimodal GPT-4o Case Study

Most content generated by OpenAI's ChatGPT Free using the new multimodal GPT-4o (available as a desktop app for macOS now, and Windows soon, but we run on Linux, so we simply used the OpenAI web interface or another powered by GPT4o), further empowering humanity. 


What began as a multimedia Ode to a Wildflower evolved into something grand and intricate, not to mention insightful and beautiful. All I did was take cues from GPT-4o and riff off them with each iterative prompt, to collaborate with, instead of merely dictating to, GPT-4o.


We are cross-posting this on all three of our initiatives, ISCed.org, TATANKA.site and ChurchofAI.website to illustrate how GPT-4o can specifically benefit each, in turn better addressing and solving the challenges of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. 


OpenAI will release more intelligence and more powerful tools to ChatGPT’s Free users over time, but for now, below is a current real-world case study in the potential of GPT-4o. Also, since GPT-4o supports fifty languages, we additionally used it for multilingual translations, each linked to within our summary.

First things first. A bit of a backstory. For the past few years I have been converting my entire garden from annuals to perennials, including flowers. Yesterday the first “wildflower” bloomed, which inspired me to kick the tires of the newly announced GPT-4o for our purposes. Here is a photo of said Shasta Daisy:

Task 1: Generate an original image for this project.

Next I needed a poem to jazz things up, add relevant content for SEO, the usual. The image struck me as a spotlight on an individual among an otherwise general context, so I edited the prompt to reflect the change in direction. Plus, I want to be iterative so one asset inspires another, etc.Would you please generate a free-verse poem based on the following descriptions?

As of press time, GPT-4o cannot generate what I need, but no stranger to Stability AI’s StableAudio.com, I outsourced this task using and adapting GPT-4o’s song description for the text to music prompt:

I wanted a longer fade, so being an Open Source devotee, I used Audacity 3.1.3 (Paulstretch + Studio Fade) running on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS (64b).

I ran out of free access for the day but fear not, I outsourced another contraption in my AI tool belt, Specterr.com, to use the AI-generated image and audio as fodder to create a “visualizer video.” For full effect, I wanted to add lyrics but I was not crazy about Spectrr’s options, so yet again I turned to another Open Source solution, Kdenlive 23.08.4, for the lyrics.
